Louisiana Department of Natural Resources
The Louisiana Department of Natural Resources is the lead state agency in the state responsible for the regulation of the oil and gas industry. The Louisiana Office of Conservation is located within the Department of Natural Resources, the Office of Conservation has day-to-day jurisdiction over the oil and gas industry.

Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality
This state agency is responsible for administering most environmental regulations related to the oil and gas industry and other industries in the state.

Louisiana Oil Spill Map
The Louisiana Applied and Educational Oil Spill Research and Development Program, located within the office of the Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator has developed a satellite image boundary map for the state on CD.
