La. mineral board sells 14 leases

The State Mineral and Energy Board collected over $700,580 in bonuses in its July lease sale.

The board awarded 14 leases covering 1,785 acres out of 84 nominated tracts covering more than 133,854 acres.

The board sold leases in Beauregard, Caddo, Cameron, Catahoula, Concordia, Plaquemines, St. Mary and Terrebonne parishes.
