LMOGA Announces New Board Leadership

The Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) announces the election of Mr. Joel Noyes, Hess Corporation as new chair of the Association’s Board of Directors in 2023.

“LMOGA’s members provide the safe, reliable, affordable energy that our country depends on while working to protect industry workers, safeguard our environment and invest in Louisiana communities,” said Joel Noyes, LMOGA Chair. “I am honored to serve as chair and look forward to building on the proud work of my predecessors to help secure America’s energy future.”

Joel Noyes is Senior Manager, Government and External Affairs for Hess Corporation and a long-time member and supporter of LMOGA. With nearly two decades of legislative, political, communications, and executive-level corporate experience, Joel Noyes serves as the lead for legislative initiatives at both the federal and state levels, providing policy analysis and advocacy on behalf of the company’s U.S. assets.

“LMOGA members are vital to the growth of Louisiana by spurring economic development and investments, creating jobs and fostering opportunities in every region of the state and we are excited to have Joel help lead our organization as we enter LMOGA’s 100th year,” said LMOGA President Tommy Faucheux. “Strong leadership within our association will help LMOGA continue to be a strong and powerful voice for Louisiana’s oil and natural gas industry for many years to come.”

LMOGA, founded in 1923, is a trade association exclusively representing all sectors of the oil and gas industry operating in Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. LMOGA serves exploration and production, refining, transportation, marketing, and mid-stream companies as well as other firms in the fields of law, engineering, environment, financing, and government relations.
