The Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Association (LMOGA) issued the following statement in response to a letter President Biden sent to oil refineries today.

“The President’s rhetoric on solutions for energy prices has not matched up with his policy decisions on oil and natural gas development,” said Tommy Faucheux, LMOGA President. “Gasoline prices are complicated and are influenced by multiple factors.”

“We need policies in place that support domestic energy development to alleviate pain at the pump and bolster U.S. energy security,” said Faucheux. “Louisiana is uniquely positioned to help meet global energy demands, and with the correct policies our industry stands ready to support America with access to a stable supply of reliable and affordable energy.”
