LMOGA Statement on 2024 Election

Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) President Tommy Faucheux issued the following statement on the results of the 2024 Elections.

"We extend our congratulations to President-Elect Trump and all members of Louisiana’s congressional delegation on their victories. With new leadership in Washington, we are optimistic about the future of Louisiana’s energy sector and the potential for policies that will strengthen America’s energy independence and fuel industry growth.

For over a century, Louisiana has long been a leader in energy production and innovation, from the Gulf of Mexico to the Haynesville Shale. As we look to the future, we need long-term, predictable energy policies that unleash the full potential of American energy to drive economic prosperity, environmental progress, and global stability.

LMOGA looks forward to working alongside state and national leaders to champion bipartisan solutions that bring regulatory clarity, encourage investment in homegrown energy, and advance low-carbon initiatives."
