NEW ORLEANS – Today, Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) President Tommy Faucheux released a statement thanking Department of the Interior Secretary Doug Burgum following their meeting in New Orleans with representatives of the Gulf of America Offshore Energy Industry, elected leaders of the Bayou Region, and Louisiana Department of Conservation and Energy Secretary Dustin Davidson. The group met to discuss Louisiana’s role in the shifting global energy environment and ways to unlock increased energy production from the Gulf of America.
“I want to thank the Trump administration and specifically Secretary Burgum and his team for their commitment to supporting the communities that make American energy dominance possible,” said Faucheux. “As the world faces increased uncertainty, unlocking more Louisiana energy leadership is essential for the security of our country and the continued prosperity of our state.”
LMOGA, founded in 1923, is a trade association exclusively representing all sectors of the oil and gas industry operating in Louisiana and the Gulf of America. LMOGA represents exploration and production, refining, transportation, marketing, and mid-stream companies as well as other firms in the fields of law, engineering, environment, financing, and government relations.
