Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) recently launched a newly re-designed association website to serve as a tool for members and as a public resource on Louisiana’s oil and natural gas industry.

“LMOGA’s updated, user friendly, and completely re-designed website is a milestone for the association as we continue our legacy as a voice for our industry,” said Tyler Gray, LMOGA President. “Our investment in the site aligns with our mission to promote and represent Louisiana’s industry in order to ensure safe delivery of affordable, reliable energy that sustains our modern way of life and delivers economic opportunity for all.”

The updated website features easier pathways to access information, and a new design including a new logo for the association. The LMOGA website hosts a wealth of information including an interactive history of the industry in Louisiana and a glossary of common industry terms. The site is also a great resource for information on industry’s impact on the state, as well as the latest industry issues.

“The new LMOGA website is a comprehensive resource for both historical and current information on Louisiana’s oil and natural gas industry,” said Ashley Cain, LMOGA Public Affairs Manager. “We are excited for the opportunity to provide an education tool for users to learn more about the industry that has been fueling the people and economy of our state for over a century.”

Since 1923, LMOGA has been the trade association representing all sectors of the oil and natural gas industry in Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico. The website can be found at www.LMOGA.com. The website was last updated in December 2011.
