LMOGA on Governor Edwards’ OCS Governor’s Coalition Chairman Announcement

The Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA) made the following statement in response to the announcement that Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards had been selected to serve as chairman of Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) Governors Coalition.

“LMOGA congratulates Governor Edwards for his new leadership role with the OCS Governors coalition and we look forward to working with him and the entire coalition as they advocate for safe, responsible energy development,” said LMOGA President Tyler Gray. “Louisiana has long been a global leader in oil and natural gas production, and our state is a great example of how protecting the environment and delivering affordable energy can go hand in hand.”
