ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery Manager Steve Blume has been named global strategic planning and business development manager in Fairfax, Va., and is being replaced here by Mark Northcutt, the Sriracha Refinery manager for Esso (Thailand) Public Co. Ltd.
The change is effective Feb. 1, ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Co. said in a news release.
Blume has been Baton Rouge Refinery manager since August 2008. He was active in the community and served on the boards of the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association, the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and the Louisiana Chemical Industry Alliance. He also helped create the North Baton Rouge Industrial Training Initiative in partnership with Baton Rouge Community College and Capital Area Technical College and local contractor partners. The program connects participants with jobs in the industry.
Northcutt previously worked at the ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery from August 2000 to November 2004. He served as technical division manager, then process division manager.
