BATON ROUGE — Mid-Continent PAC (MCPAC), the political action committee of the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association (LMOGA), proudly endorses Judge William “Billy” Burris in the election to fill the vacant District 1 seat on the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Burris currently serves as District Judge for Division E of the 22nd Judicial District Court, covering Washington and St. Tammany Parishes.
“In Judge Burris’s nearly two decades of legal experience, he has demonstrated the temperament and judgement to diligently serve our state on the Louisiana Supreme Court. It is vital for the future of our state that we elect competent judges like William Burris who apply the law consistently, interpret the law as written, and do not attempt to legislate from the bench. MCPAC is proud to endorse Judge William ‘Billy’ Burris to be the next justice on the Louisiana Supreme Court,” said a MCPAC Spokesman.
